Competition is the Name of the Game for Manhattan Interior Designers!
Manhattan interior designers share many of the characteristics of their hedgefund/stockbroker/rich and famous clients: they are always aware of the competition and know that they are only as good as their last job. The area that make Manhattan designers most aware of their mortality is the magazines. Althought clients think that designers are only interested in big jobs, the truth is that they are most interested in jobs and clients who have interesting jobs. Manhattan designers are particularly keen on working with clients who will have publishable jobs – so if a client has a great art collection, great taste, an off-beat or special sense of style, there’s a very good chance that almost any designer she talks to will want to work with her. This “publish or perish” mindset drives Manhattan interior designers to raise the level of their game on every job. – Karen Fisher
